BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Maggie Wolenter (Audubon, N.J./Audubon) and Caroline Weisser (York, Pa./York Suburban) posted the lone Juniata College win of the day as the Eagle women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to Moravian College, Saturday in Bethlehem, Pa.

The loss snapped Juniata's nine-match winning streak, and denied the Eagles in their bid for an undefeated Landmark Conference record. Juniata heads into this week's Landmark Conference Women's Tennis Tournament semifinals as the no. 2 seed with a 13-5 record, 5-1 in Landmark play.

Wolenter and Weisser posted an 8-5 win at no. 2 doubles over Moravian's Melissa Emery and Anna Meola.

In singles play, Juniata's closest match was at no. 2 singles, where Katie Healy (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mt. Lebanon) battled Dyan Swan to a tiebreaker set before falling 6-4, 2-6, 6-4. Weisser took Moravian's Alexandria Hay to the tiebreak in the first set, before bowing in straight sets, 7-6 (7-4), 6-2.

Juniata will host Goucher College in a Landmark tournament semifinal on Wednesday, April 29, on the Raffensperger Tennis Courts. Start time for that match will be determined on Monday.
