WESTMINSTER, Md. -- Juniata College yielded three goals in the second half and fell to McDaniel College, 4-1, in men's soccer action Thursday night.

After McDaniel's Marrio Davis put the Green Terror up 1-0 in the 17th minute, Eagle midfielder Aaron Bray (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) launched a 30-yard floater that cleared Green Terror keeper Robert Hollasch and found the back of the goal. Midfielder Drew Steffen (Lewisberry, Pa./Red Land), who played the ball over the top to Bray, was credited with the assist.

The score was deadlocked at the mid way point, when Davis tallied what proved to be the game-winning goal in the 51st minute. Davis' initial shot was stopped by Juniata keeper Joe Kohler (Vienna, Va./James Madison), but he buried the rebound for the unassisted marker.

The Green Terror tacked on two more goals in the 80th and 88th minutes to cap the scoring.

McDaniel outshot Juniata 18-5, and had an 11-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Kohler finished the day with four saves while allowing all four goals, while Hollasch recorded no saves.

Juniata will have the weekend off, before returning to action on Tuesday, Sept. 8, when it hosts St. Vincent College at 7:00 p.m. at Huntingdon's Detwiler Park.
