GREENSBURG, Pa. - The Juniata College women's soccer team scored in the second overtime period for the second game in a row, this time to finish off the University of Pitt-Greensburg, 1-0 in Greensburg, Pa. on Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore Nikki Hankinson (New Baltimore, Pa./ Berlin Brothersvalley) picked a good time to score her first goal of the season as she put home a rebound in the 113th minute to win the game 1-0 for the Eagles (2-3).

Overall, the Eagles posted 33 shots, 19 of which were on frame, but was unable to put one past Bobcat goalie, Michelle Love. Juniata also out cornered Pitt-Greensburg (1-4) 12-1, but needed the two extra periods to seal the victory.

Junior keeper Kristen Penska (North Huntingdon, Pa./ Norwin) played all 113 minutes and was able to stop the four shots that were placed on goal. Fourteen different players for the Eagles recorded a shot, while 12 of them put at least one shot on goal.

Up next for the Eagles, as they continue to play away from home, are the Warriors of Lycoming on September 15 at 4:30 p.m.
