HUNTINGDON, Pa. - Juniata College field hockey goalie Denalyn Spratt (Haddon Heights, N.J. / Haddon Heights) was named the Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending September 27.

Spratt, a senior, posted two victories as she helped her team raise its record to 7-2 overall and 1-0 in the Landmark Conference.

The Eagles defeated Dickinson College 2-0 on September 23. Spratt played over 63 minutes and recorded four saves in goal, earning the victory. She did not allow a goal as she helped Juniata record its first shutout of the season.

The team then opened its Landmark Conference campaign with a contest at Goucher College. Spratt played the first 35 minutes of the game, and did not face a shot as she lowered her goals against average to a conference leading 0.93. She earned the victory as the team went on to win 5-1.

The Eagles play Frostburg State University on Winton Hill Field on Wednesday, September 30, starting at 4 p.m.
