HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Elizabeth Van Blarcom's (Columbia Cross Roads, Pa./Troy) goal would not be enough to keep Juniata College afloat Wednesday afternoon as it fell to Dickinson College, 4-1 at Winton Hill Field.

The Eagles (4-8-0) only goal was on Van Blarcom's unassisted shot in the 68th minute when Dickinson (8-2-0) keeper Kailyn Hartmann mishandled the ball.

The Red Devils scored first with a Hannah Richardson goal. Richardson penetrated the Eagle defense in the 37th minute and blasted one in from the left of the box.

Red Devil Genevieve Olson secured the win when she picked up a loose ball in the 57th minute and scored from within the 18 yard box.

After being taken out in the box by a Juniata defender, Sarah Montminy put one in the Eagle goal on a penalty kick in the 61st minute of play.

Molly Schaefer beat Juniata keeper Kristen Penska (North Huntingdon, Pa./ Norwin) on Dickinson's final goal in the 64th minute. Schaefer received the ball from Sara White on a long pass up the right side for Schaefer to score from within the 18 yard box.

Dickinson, ranked 5th in this weekend adidas/ NCSAA Mid-Atlantic poll, outshot Juniata 12-5. Both teams recorded two corner kicks. Eagle, Penska played all 90 minutes in the Eagle goal and recorded three saves. Hartmann had four saves in her 81 minutes in goal for the Red Devils.

The Eagles return to action this Saturday, October 10th when they take on Landmark Conference rival Catholic on a road game at 12:30 p.m.
