EWING, N.J. -- Three Juniata College track and field athletes took their final shots at improving on NCAA qualifying marks at Thursday's Lions Last Chance, hosted by The College of New Jersey.

Senior TJ Breya (McClure, Pa./East Juniata) entered the meet ranked 16th in the country in the 400m hurdles, having run a time of 53.65 ten days earlier and 53.67 six days ago. Showing consistency at TCNJ, Breya ran the third fastest race of his career in finishing second with a time of 53.72.

Sophomore Dustin Drake (Mount Union, Pa./Mount Union) entered the meet ranked 26th in the javelin throw with a mark of 59.77m, recorded two months ago at Wake Forest. At TCNJ he also finished second with a throw of 58.12m.

Sophomore Kristyn Ginter (Tyrone, Pa./Bellwood-Antis) came into this meet ranked 37th in the javelin with a season best mark of 38.82m recorded at the conference championship three weeks ago. She finished sixth at TCNJ with a throw of 33.00m.

The complete field for the 2010 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be announced on Sunday, May 23, at approximately 3:00 p.m. This year's championship will be hosted at Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio, on May 27-29.
