HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- The Juniata College men's track and field team is among 68 Division III men's track squads that have recognized as an All-Academic Team by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2009-10 academic year.

To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, squads had to post a 3.10 or better GPA. Juniata was the only Landmark Conference men's track squad named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic list.

In addition, Juniata seniors TJ Breya (McClure, Pa./East Juniata) and Ryan Johnson (Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood) were named to the Individual All-Academic honorees list.

A total of 202 student-athletes from 74 Division III institutions earned Individual All-Academic honors, for having a 3.30 or better GPA and reaching either the provisional or automatic NCAA qualifying mark in their respective event. Breya hit the NCAA provisional qualifying mark in the 400m hurdles for the 2010 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, while Johnson reached the provisional mark in the javelin.
