SALISBURY, M.d. -- Juniata College dominated Delaware Valley College 3-0 in non-conference field hockey action on Saturday at Winton Hill Field.

Just two minutes into the game, Paula Price (Camp Hill, Pa./East Pennsboro) scored off of a corner from Caroline Phillips (Wilmington, Del./Concord). Price came back for another round as she found the back of the net in the 40th minute. Kim Amrod (Ridgefield, Conn./Ridgefield) put the Eagles up 3-0 as she scored off of an assist from Shauna Deschenes (Duncannon, Pa./Susquenita).

The Eagles had an outstanding overall advantage with 29 shots and 28 penalty corners compared to one of each from the Aggies.

Janelle Howard (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) was the winning goalie for the day but was not challenged. Hollis Hancock defended the goal for Delaware Valley and made nine saves.

Next in line, the team travels to Dickinson on Tuesday, Sept. 21 to play at 4:00 pm.
