HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Juniata College men's soccer suffered a disappointing 3-0 shutout versus Moravian College in Landmark Conference action on Saturday afternoon at Winton Hill Field.

An early penalty kick goal in the eighth minute from the Greyhound's Mike Dobbins proved to disrupt the Eagles' system of play for the remainder of the match. Jeffrey Algor scored an unassisted goal in the 19th minute, and Mathew Levine assisted Hugh Riley to close the scoring and secure the win in the 89th minute.

The Eagles offense created an outstanding number of offensive chances for themselves throughout the entire match. David Grim (Boalsburg, Pa./State College Area) had the most shots for the Eagles with five, while Luke Waddell (Muncy, Pa./Muncy) and Greg Hess (Hanover, Pa./South Western) also tallied three shots.

Juniata and Moravian tied dead even for shots at 17. Moravian had a 5-4 advantage in corner kicks.

In goal, Ezra Cassel (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) made seven saves in a taxing 90 minutes of work. Tim Dollarton also saw all 90 minutes of action and made five saves in goal for the Greyhounds.

Juniata returns to action this Tuesday Oct. 5, when it travels to King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. at 7:00 pm.
