HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- The Juniata College men's track and field squad has been picked to finish third in the 2011 Landmark Conference indoor meet, in preseason voting among the league's head coaches and sports information directors which was released Thursday.

Moravian College was picked to repeat as the Landmark's men's indoor track and field champions, earning 47 poitns in the voting. Susquehanna University earned 44 points to finish second.

Juniata College and Goucher College each received 30 points to tie for third place in the voting.

Catholic University of America was fifth with 16 points, while the United States Merchant Marine Academy received 13 points.

The Juniata men's indoor track squad is led by junior jumper Nicholas Bauer (Glen Ridge, N.J./Glen Ridge) in the field events, and an accomplished group of distance runners led by junior Ceth Parker (Sabillasville, Md./Catoctin) and Nik Klena (Franklin, Pa./Oil City) on the track.

Juniata resumes its indoor track and field season on January 22 at the WVU State Farm Shell Games, with the Landmark Conference Indoor Track and Field Championship slated for February 26 in Selinsgrove, Pa.
