Complete 2011 Gettysburg College XC Invitational results

GETTYSBURG, Pa. -- Juniata College sophomore Nate Alter (Pittsburgh, Pa./Taylor Allderdice) finished 31st overall with a time of 28:30.87 to lead all Eagle finishers at Saturday's Gettysburg College Invitational five mile cross country meet.

Alter was the lone Juniata runner among the top 100 in the event, in which the Eagles finished 17th out of 31 teams.

Sophomore Connor Robinson (Asheville, N.C./Asheville) was 110th overall, scoring 94th, with a time of 30:04.35, while freshman Trevor Stephens (Bethesda, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase) was 127th overall, scoring 107th, with a time of 30:17.04.

Ryan Trexler (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) was 136th across the finish line, scoring 110th, with a mark of 30:26.92, and Ceth Parker (Sabillasville, Md./Catoctin) was 205th overall, scoring 138th, with a time of 31:43.66 to round out the Juniata scorers in the event.

In the women's 6000m race, junior Kelsey Burton (Camp Hill, Pa./Camp Hill) was the lone Juniata runner to complete course, finishing 272nd overall with a time of 30:42.61. Most of Juniata's squad did not run in the event or ran just part of the course, as either a rest or a tune up for the Landmark Conference Cross Country Championships in two week.
