Following the winter break, the Eagles earned a third-place finish at their own Juniata College Tournament. Juniata topped Immaculata 70-57 on the second day of tournament play, rebounding from a 64-55 loss to Penn State-Altoona on the first day of competition. Kelly Steinbeiser (Altoona/Altoona) led the Eagles as she matched season highs with 19 points and 14 rebounds in the victory over Immaculata. Steinbeiser just missed a "double-double" against Penn State-Altoona tossing in 12 points with eight rebounds. Casey Shoup (Altoona/Altoona) registered two season highs with her 18 points and eight assists against Immaculata. Shoup also reached double figures with her 11 points against Penn State-Altoona. Jen Uhrich (Palmyra/Palmyra) recorded a "double-double" as well, netting 13 points while grabbing 11 rebounds. Jen LaCount (Westmont Hilltop/Johnstown) was the leading scorer for the Eagles against Penn State-Altoona. Her 17 points marked the sixth time this season she has scored in double figures.

Juniata dropped a road contest against Division I East Tennessee State by a score of 108-57. The game marked the first time the Eagles had played a game since the winter break. Juniata got a team-leading 15 points from Jeff Lau (York Catholic/Glen Rock) who also added six rebounds. Craig Biller (Penn Cambria/Loretto) also scored in double figures for Juniata as he hit for 11 points. Travis Martin (Huntingdon/Huntingdon) led the team with nine rebounds, while freshman Tommy McConnell (Bishop Guilfoyle/Hollidaysburg) had four assists. Juniata hung with East Tennessee State, the team that many have picked to win the Division I Southern Conference, for most of the first half. With 9:27 remaining in the first half, Juniata trailed by only four points, 26-22. The Eagles traded baskets with East Tennessee State for a good portion of the second half, but could not hang in for the duration of the game.
