HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Clifford the Big Red Dog and a family reading specialist will host a "Family Literacy Night" at Juniata College from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, March 11 in the downstairs lounge of Lesher Hall on the Juniata campus.

The event is free and open to the public. Space for participation may be limited. For further information, please call Cate Croyle at (814) 643-3602.

In addition to Clifford, the presentation will be hosted by Darcey Gustafson, community outreach coordinator for PBS Kids Ready to Learn at WPSX-TV in State College.

Gustafson will demonstrate how educational television can be used as a learning tool to help children read more. She also will share activities that parents can use to give their children more opportunities to read.
