HUNTINGDON, Pa.—Building upon Juniata’s dedication to eliminating financial obstacles to higher education, qualifying college-bound students from selected Central Pennsylvania counties can secure scholarships covering up to 100% of tuition for four years while residing on campus.

College-going students from Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Mifflin, and Somerset counties who apply to Juniata and demonstrate academic success in high school and involvement in extracurricular or community activities are eligible for consideration.

“Juniata College has a long history of educational access with $40 million provided annually in scholarships and grant awards. Building on last year’s effort and with inflation increases impacting college decisions, Juniata continues to step up its affordability for families who are struggling to navigate the financial costs associated with higher education,” said Jason Moran, vice president for enrollment management at Juniata College.

Ranked as 16th in the nation for social mobility by U.S. News and World Report and 25th in the nation for great financial aid by The Princeton Review, Juniata College’s personalized education has helped countless students achieve financial stability after graduation. In fact, 100% of enrolled students receive financial aid from Juniata. This success in providing a transformative education led to Juniata College being recognized as one of 44 Colleges That Change Lives. In addition, first-generation college students make up about one-third of the student population.

Juniata’s mission to empower students to develop the skills, knowledge, and values that lead to a fulfilling life of service and ethical leadership in a global community is evidenced by the success of alumni. Proud Juniatians serve as scientists, physicians, attorneys, judges, educators, and more. Within six months of graduation, 96% of graduates are employed or in graduate school.

The Juniata College Enrollment Office will select candidates for the scholarship, who will be invited to campus for a scholarship interview.

Interested college-bound high school seniors are encouraged to apply. All first-year applicants must submit a high school transcript, at least one letter of recommendation, and the application essay by visiting https://www.juniata.edu/admission/apply/.
