HUNTINGDON, Pa.—The Juniata College Board of Trustees has added four new members for the start of the 2025–2026 academic year. The newly appointed trustees,   

Jeremy Anagnos of Wayne, Pa., Dr. Clay Cooper ’13 of State College, Pa., Angela (Montag) Jones ’01 of Manhattan Beach, Calif., and Dr. James M. Metz ’89 of Collingswood, NJ, will begin their service on Sept. 1, 2025, for three-year terms.    

Carl D. Glaeser ’77 of Mahwah, NJ, will succeed Mary M. White ’73 as Chair of the Juniata College Board of Trustees. A 1977 graduate of Juniata with a bachelor of science degree in economics and political science, Glaeser has been a trustee since 2005 and received an honorary Doctor of Letters from the College in 2016. He is the co-founder and managing partner of Palladian Capital Partners, a U.S.-based private equity firm, and serves on several corporate, non-profit, and church boards. He was also a member of the New York University (NYU) Steinhardt School Dean’s Council. 

Glaeser is a senior executive, entrepreneur, and philanthropist with extensive global leadership experience spanning technology, services, and community development. He co-founded GT Water in 2016, which has since provided sustainable clean water access to more than one million people worldwide through a locally driven, community-based model. His business leadership includes serving as President & CEO of Bowne Global Solutions, senior roles at Lucent Technologies, and the founding and scaling of several high-tech companies to IPOs and strategic exits. He currently serves on the boards of TreadStone Technologies, Link Labs, and BluLogix. 

He also contributes to national policy as a board member of the Center for a New American Security (CNAS), a leading bipartisan think tank shaping U.S. security strategy. Across his business, philanthropic, and governance work, Glaeser is dedicated to advancing innovation, community empowerment, sustainability, and principled leadership. 

Jeremy Anagnos earned his bachelor’s degree in finance at Boston College in 1995 and is chief investment officer at CBRE Investment Management based in Radnor, Pa. He is a member of the CBRE Investment Management Senior Leadership Council and serves on the Listed Real Assets Management Committee. Anagnos began his career in the real estate industry in 1997 and has worked in various management and research positions with LaSalle Investment Management and Deutsche Bank.   

Dr. Clay Cooper is a physician specializing in family medicine who works within the Geisinger Health System. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology and Spanish at Juniata College in 2013. Cooper completed his master of business administration at Penn State University and his doctor of medicine degree at the Penn State College of Medicine, both in 2018. He has received awards, including the AAFP Award for Excellence in Graduate Medical Education and the World Health Organization Young Leader. 

Angela (Montag) Jones’ 01 earned her bachelor’s degree in politics at Juniata, then completed her juris doctorate at the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in 2004. She is vice president, business and legal affairs at Netflix in Los Angeles, CA. Before joining Netflix, Jones spent 10 years working in Philadelphia as an associate in the business and finance group at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP, and later as a senior counsel at Comcast. She delivered the commencement speech at Juniata’s 146th Commencement, where she was also the recipient of an honorary degree.   

Dr. James M. Metz is the chair of Radiation Oncology and Henry K. Pancoast Professor of Radiation Oncology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at Juniata College in 1989, then received a master’s degree in clinical immunology and microbiology at Hahnemann University. Metz graduated from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. He delivered the commencement speech at Juniata’s 147th Commencement, where he received an honorary degree.
