HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniata Presents continues its season with suspense and intrigue as Aquila Theatre brings Sherlock to life with classic mystery and modern energy in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Hound of the Baskervilles. 

One of the foremost producers of classical theater in the United States, Aquila Theatre take the stage at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026, in Rosenberger Auditorium at the Halbritter Center for the Performing Arts at Juniata College. Easy parking, affordable pricing–tickets start at $20, with $12 for seniors and youth, and free admission for Juniata students with ID. 

Set against the eerie backdrop of England’s fog-shrouded moors, The Hound of the Baskervilles follows Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson as they unravel the chilling death of Sir Charles Baskerville. With rumors of a ghostly hound haunting the Baskerville family, Holmes must use his razor-sharp intellect to untangle fact from superstition in one of literature’s most iconic mysteries. 

Aquila Theatre is celebrated for its bold, innovative approach to classic works, and this production promises a masterful blend of suspense, sharp wit, and dramatic flair. Audiences will be captivated by Aquila’s dynamic storytelling, rich atmosphere, and the thrilling twists that have made Doyle’s tale a timeless favorite.
