HUNTINGDON, Pa. — Juniata College Mock Trial brought two trophies home from their weekend wins at the Golden Dome Mock Trial Tournament hosted by the University of Notre Dame in Indiana.

Of the top five finishers, Juniata’s Gold Team took third place and the Blue Team took fifth. The other Teams that took home trophies were Northwestern University A and B, and Notre Dame A.

"This tournament gave us excellent competition. Our Blue Team played each of the three other teams that earned trophies. The fact that we had two of our teams place in this tournament is a testament to the strength of our Mock Trial Program,” said Attorney David Andrews, Coach of the Legal Eagles. “This tournament was our fourth of the fall season, and we have placed at each of the four tournaments and finished first in two of them."

Cooper Lovrich ’30 of Altoona, Pa., and Maddie Herold ’27 of South Abington Township, Pa., earned Outstanding Witness Awards, and Alyvyah Scott ’28 of Huntingdon, Pa., won an Outstanding Attorney Award.

Juniata Mock Trial will next compete at followed by the Mocktopia Tournament in Santa Barbara, Calif., from November 14-16, 2026.
