HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Three instrumental ensembles comprised of Juniata College students will perform in concert at 4 p.m., Sunday, April 4, in Rosenberger Auditorium in Oller Hall on the Juniata campus.

The concert is free and open to the public.

The concert opens with the Juniata College Percussion Ensemble. The group will perform a variety of music, including ?Taiko,? ?Quadrum,? ?A La Samba? and ?Mesozoic Fantasy.?

Juniata students performing in the ensemble are: Jeff Anderson, a freshman from Upper Darby, Pa.; John Boyer, a sophomore from Belleville, Pa.; Brock Eastman, a freshman from Huntingdon, Pa.; Kuhrt Engle, a freshman from Royersford, Pa.; Dustin Gladhill, a sophomore from Fairfield, Pa.; Chris Heaster, a junior from Mount Union, Pa.; Kevin Kasun, a sophomore from Altoona, Pa.; Tom Kimmel, a sophomore from Canfield, Ohio; Rachel Meyer, a freshman from St. Marys, Pa.; Amanda Rushnock, a senior from Philipsburg, Pa.; Doug Schunk, a senior from Altoona; Jon Shirley, a junior from Albuquerque, N.M.; and Dawn Vitko, a senior from Johnstown.

The Juniata College Sinfonia will perform next, taking on the Antonio Vivaldi composition ?Concerto in G Major (Alla Rustica).? The group will also play ?An Outdoor Overture,? by Aaron Copland, which features full orchestra instrumentation.

Piccolo: Elizabeth Commander, a freshman from Woodstock, Md.

Oboe: Kristen Robinson, a sophomore from Altoona; and Lori Scholl, a junior from Cheswick, Pa.
Bassoon: Leslie Vogt, a senior from Venice, Fla.
B-flat clarinet: Melissa Bell, a junior from Hollidaysburg, Pa.; and Aaron Himmler, a senior from Cumberland, Md.
Horn: Nicole Beaver, a senior from Lewistown, Pa.; Jill Keeney, associate professor of biology at Juniata; and Marsha Loth, a sophomore from Hollidaysburg.

Trombone: Chloe Brown, a freshman from Pacific Grove, Calif.; and James Nelson, a sophomore from Lanse, Pa.

The Juniata College Jazz Ensemble will perform a series of jazz compositions, including ?Brass Machine,? ?Drip Dry,? ?Gospel John,? ?Do Nothin? Til You Hear from Me,? ?Chameleon,? ?Respect? and Desafinado.?
