Juniata Expands Full Tuition Opportunity to Students Across Pennsylvania
(Posted October 6, 2026)
HUNTINGDON, Pa. — Juniata College is making a transformational investment by expanding its successful Central Pennsylvania Full Tuition Initiative to eligible students throughout the Commonwealth, opening the door to a tuition-free Juniata education.
“Affordability shouldn’t stand between Pennsylvania students and the college they want to attend,” said Jason Moran, vice president for enrollment at Juniata College. “We know families are weighing a lot when it comes to paying for college, and we want to open the door to a Juniata education for more students.”
Starting with students entering Juniata in Fall 2027, Pennsylvania residents who meet certain academic and financial criteria may qualify for institutional scholarships and financial aid that cover the full cost of tuition. To benefit from the new Pennsylvania Full Tuition Opportunity, students need to apply to Juniata and be admitted, have at least a 3.4 cumulative high school GPA, have a family adjusted gross income of $100,000 or less, be Pennsylvania residents, and live on campus as residential students.
“Expanding this program is an investment in Pennsylvania students and in the future of Juniata,” Moran said. “We want to welcome students from across the Commonwealth who will contribute to our campus, engage deeply in the Juniata experience and take what they learn here into their communities and beyond.”
This initiative builds upon the College’s existing need-based financial aid system, with 100% of admitted students receiving financial support.
The Pennsylvania Full Tuition Opportunity begins with students enrolling at Juniata for the Fall 2027 semester and applies to tuition. Current students will continue to receive the scholarships and financial aid for which they qualified when they enrolled.
