We offer a Preferred Alumni Rate for Juniata College Alumni and have established an Employee Partnership Rate for students of companies in which we have a Memorandum of Understanding.

$55 Technology fee per course 

Full time, residential experience (per academic year): 

  • Housing: $7,800*
  • Dining: $6,800**
  • Mandatory Fees Total: $1,100 (Technology Fee, Activity Fee, and Support Services & Program Fee)

* This is for a standard double room, but please note, graduate students are NOT required to live on campus.
** Price is for highest Meal Plan; other options are available at a lower cost.

Not included is insurance cost, which can be waived with proper documentation.

Graduate School Funding and Aid

Graduate students may complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to receive consideration for the federal loan resources listed below. The FAFSA is completed online at https://studentaid.gov/. In almost all cases, graduate and professional students are considered independent students and do not have to provide their parents' tax information on the FAFSA.

 At this time, Juniata College does not offer any type of scholarship or fellowship for our graduate programs but does offer a discounted rate for alumni of $675 per credit instead of the standard $800 per credit charged for graduate coursework (prices as of the 2024-2025 academic year). Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan

Eligible students can borrow up to $20,500 per year ($10,250 per term) and up to $138,500 during their career as a graduate student; the graduate aggregate borrowing limit of $138,500 includes Direct Loans received for undergraduate study.

Processed using MPN already on file from undergraduate borrowing, if you attended Juniata College. If you did not previously borrow, Entrance Counseling & Master Promissory Note must be completed at https://studentaid.gov/mpn/ and https://studentaid.gov/entrance-counseling under the “Graduate/Professional Students” tab.

Please reach out to financialplanning@juniata.edu to request the amount of your eligibility you wish to be disbursed each term upon receiving your bill from the Bursar’s Office.

The loan(s) will go into repayment 6 months after you leave school or cease to be enrolled at least half-time.

Federal Direct PLUS for Graduate Students

You can borrow up to the cost of attendance minus any other financial assistance received.

After you apply for a Graduate PLUS Loan, a credit check will be performed. If you have an adverse credit history and are denied the loan, you can obtain an endorser (cosigner) or appeal the denial.

Please complete a Grad/PLUS Master Promissory Note at https://studentaid.gov/mpn/ under the “Graduate/Professional Students” tab.
