CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION (CIE)
The Center for International Education, under the oversight of Kati Csoman, dean of international education, nurtures the international character and activities for Juniata faculty and students. The CIE fosters the development, maintenance, and administration of international programs including Intensive English, International Student Services, Study Abroad, and exchange programs, maintaining the global network of relationships necessary for the opportunities the College provides. The CIE helps students weave international experiences into their educational plan, providing both learning and logistical support.

Want to do research or a major creative project but wonder where to start or how to do it?
CENTER FOR UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH AND CREATIVE INQUIRY (CURCI)
Led by Matt Beaky, associate professor of physics and director of undergraduate research, the center develops opportunities for students to engage in learning that involves research, experimentation, creative production, or other immersive study experiences. CURCI also provides limited funding for some experiences.

Community Engagement at Juniata College
Sarah Worley, associate professor of communication and director of service learning, serves as a leader and liaison between the surrounding community, staff, faculty, and students to foster learning through community involvement.

Health and medicine part of your future?
HEALTH PROFESSIONS COMMITTEE
The Health Professions Committee is an interdisciplinary group of faculty and staff who provide guidance and support for students aspiring careers in the health professions. Led by Amanda Siglin, the committee serves pre-health students through individual and group advising, formal coursework, training workshops, and facultyled admissions test preparation. The committee also facilitates relationships between professional schools and regional health care organizations.

LAW SCHOOL ADVISING
Led primarily by Jack Barlow, professor of politics, a network of faculty exist to advise students interested in attending law school or pursuing careers in the legal profession and the pathways to achieving those goals.

Interested in applying for a unique experience after college or during a summer break?
FELLOWSHIPS ADVISING
A committee of faculty and staff helps identify and counsel students pursuing major post-graduate fellowships such as Fulbright, Goldwater, St. Andrews, Finnegan, and Gilman Fellowships, among others. The committee also helps students interested in the Peace Corps and other national or international service opportunities.

BEEGHLY LIBRARY AND WRITING CENTER
The L.A. Beeghly Library provides a gathering place for individual and collaborative study for Juniata students, faculty, and community. The library offers a large collection of books, ebooks, journals, magazines, and newspapers. It also houses Juniata’s Writing Center where trained peers provide advice, tips, and strategies to help people improve their writing.

OFFICE OF THE REGISTRAR
The Office of the Registrar provides and protects, with the utmost accuracy and confidentiality, the information in regards to student academic records, academic policy, and support services. The registrar complies with all Federal and State regulations pertaining to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and the rights of students. Students can use the registrar as a resource for scheduling, support, and advising.
