Biography
Elainea Neville is a dedicated and accomplished Computer Science and Information Technology professional. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Juniata College, she embarked on a journey that seamlessly combined academic excellence with practical industry experience.
After graduating in 2016, she joined the defense contracting industry, where she quickly rose to become a Software Engineer on the test team. During her years in the industry, she contributed significantly to multiple million-dollar projects, showcasing technical proficiency and leadership skills. As a Scrum Master (Scrum Certification) for two large teams, she was pivotal in project management, ensuring efficient collaboration and delivery of high-quality software solutions.
In pursuit of further expertise, Elainea Neville pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems with a concentration on Web Application Development. This academic endeavor broadened her knowledge base and enhanced their skills, laying the groundwork for a holistic understanding of computer science.
In the fall of 2021, she returned to their alma mater, Juniata College, as a Computer Science and Information Technology Instructor. This transition from industry to academia marked a new chapter in Elainea’s career, allowing her to share her knowledge and real-world experiences with the next generation of computer scientists.
The commitment to continuous learning and scholarly pursuits led Elainea to commence their Ph.D. in Computer Science in January 2022. This ongoing academic journey reflects Elainea's dedication to advancing the field and contributing to the ever-evolving landscape of Computer Science. Her degree is currently ongoing.
