Neuroscience Learning Outcomes 

Student individualizing in Neuroscience will ​gain the following: 

  1. Gain knowledge in the basic concepts of neuroscience and gain an awareness of neuroscience as an interdisciplinary field​
  2. Gain knowledge of research in neuroscience, including the generation of hypotheses, use of laboratory techniques, and science ethics​
  3. Acquire skills in science communication in both written and oral formats​
  4. Critically evaluate primary literature and popular press neuroscience articles​
  5. Have knowledge of resources and preparation required for diverse careers in neuroscience
