Logan Eggleston ’27

John Croasdaile ’93 was impressed with Logan Eggleston from the moment he entered his classroom. “He’s a pretty amazing young man in terms of his heart and focus,” Croasdaile said. “Logan is very mature and has a heart for making a difference.” John gladly answered questions about his experiences as a student at Juniata and encouraged Logan to read about the College in Colleges That Change Lives by Loren Pope. Both were excited when Logan was accepted to Juniata College!

We asked John what he thought about the Community Scholarship.

What inspires you to refer a prospective student to the Juniata Community Scholarship?

I always encourage students to check out Juniata College and talk about Juniata while I’m teaching. Most of my physics students are in 10th grade, so it’s a good time to give them ideas about college as sophomores. I’m promoting the College to them as an opportunity to go somewhere where they’ll meet like-minded, passionate peers who are going to go out into the world and make a difference.
