Help Desk and IT Support: With courses moving online, you may find that you need access to campus technology resources that you haven't accessed remotely before. To prepare, please review the checklist for learning remotely at http://help.juniata.edu/view_article.php?article=141 and ensure that you are able to connect to Moodle and check your email in advance of classes starting next week. If you experience difficulties connecting to these resources or have a technology related question, please visit http://help.juniata.edu to chat/submit a work order, email help@juniata.edu, or call 814-641-3619 and leave a message.  The CTS Help Desk will be online Sunday evening until 9 p.m. and Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Registrar and Academic Advising:  As announced last week, we have delayed registration for the Fall 2020 semester until April. The revised dates are:

  • Monday, April 6 - 20/FA schedule available to view online/Advising period begins
  • Monday, April 13 - 20/FA Registration opens at 8 a.m. for students with Junior or Senior standing
  • Friday, April 17 - 20/FA Registration opens at 8 a.m. for students with Sophomore standing
  • Wednesday, April 22 - 20/FA Registration opens at 8 a.m. for students with Freshman standing
  • Thursday, April 30 - 20/FA Registration period closes for all class levels at 5 p.m.

Watch next week for another email from the Registrar’s Office that will share more detailed instructions on 20/FA registration and other academic matters, such as course withdrawal, submitting POE forms, etc. If you have any questions, contact Dawn Scialabba, Acting Registrar & Coordinator of Academic Advising, at scialad@juniata.edu. Tutoring: To request tutoring for a class, contact Jennifer DeConde at decondj@juniata.edu.

Writing Center: The Writing Center will be available for online tutoring starting Monday, March 30th.

If you would like to work with a Writing Center tutor, please email writing@juniata.edu and request a tutoring session.
Please include:
• the topic of your paper
• the name of the course
• if you wish to work with a particular tutor
Do NOT send the paper with your initial request. Once your tutor is assigned, you will send your paper to that tutor and schedule a follow-up skype or zoom session.
