The Office for the Prevention of Interpersonal Violence—known as the SPoT (Safe Place tO Talk)—is located in the Ellis 113 suite.
Peer Advocates and Professional Staff provide free and confidential support for all Juniata College students impacted by interpersonal violence including sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, harassment, and more. The SPoT also provides extensive educational opportunities throughout the year and opportunities for students to volunteer and get more involved in prevention efforts.

HOURS: Peer Advocates have their hours posted outside the SPoT. If you go to the SPoT and no advocate is available, please email Jody Althouse: althouj@juniata.edu
The SPoT Lounge is open 24/7. Here you will find comfortable furniture, games, snacks, and giveaways.
There is also a "mini care closet" in the SPoT lounge kept stocked with personal care items - free!
