On October 19, 2018 Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf signed into law the Timothy J. Piazza Antihazing Law, named for the Pennsylvania State University student who lost his life in a fraternity hazing incident in early 2017. The new law amends Pennsylvania’s existing Antihazing Law, including requiring additional reporting by colleges and universities. Colleges and universities are required to make a report of hazing violations and must publish this information on the publicly accessible portion of the school’s website. Updates to this report will be made on January 1 and August 1 of each year.
