Empowering youth to advance health in their community.

Overview: ACHIEVE Academy is a three-day summer daytime program for 7th-10th grade students in central Pa. that runs from June 4 – 6 from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. We aim to inspire the next generation of community health leaders by introducing participants to the various factors that affect health, including healthcare and education access, the environment, social connections, and economic stability. All these elements will be viewed through the lens of the local rural community to demonstrate that students can impact health and wellness right where they are! Participants will have opportunities to explore various aspects of community health and meet local health leaders, as well as participate in fun activities that promote wellness! Lunch and snacks will be provided.
