Who can go to the Glaeser Counseling Services?
All full time undergraduate students enrolled in classes can receive services at the
Glaeser Counseling Services. We provide individual and group counseling, and we also
help students get connected to other resources on campus or local community resources
and providers when a higher level of care is appropriate.
What is counseling?
Counseling is a private and confidential service that empowers you to make changes
and resolve various problems. Your counselor will listen and help you develop skills
to make changes you determine are important.
How long may I remain in counseling?
Glaeser Counseling Services are included in the support services and program fee.
We do not limit the number of appointments a student can utilize; however, we use
an absorption model which means our availability depends upon demand of services.
Students typically schedule appointments every other week. When clinicians identify
Glaeser Counseling Services are not an appropriate level of care, we continue to work
with students in establishing referral and connection to the appropriate resources
and providers.
Are visits to Glaeser Counseling Services confidential?
All visits to Glaeser Counseling Services are confidential. A counselor may only talk
to parents or administrators if the student specifically authorizes it in writing
or if there is an imminent risk of harm to oneself or others. Glaeser Counseling
Service records are protected health information (PHI) and protected by The Health
Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). Records are kept confidential
via our electronic health record that only clinical staff can access.
What is Mantra Health?

health provider for college students, to offer you access to mental health care virtually.
By enrolling in Mantra, you can connect to psychiatric nurse practitioners for psychiatric
evaluations and medication management, all through video at your convenience. Your

include lifestyle changes and tools to track your progress. Your on campus therapist
may also collaborate with the Mantra provider from time to time, to make sure you’re
receiving the optimal treatment plan for your needs. The College will offer free sessions
through the school.
