Jin Qu is a graduate of Lawrence University, a liberal arts college. She holds an M.S. in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Morehead State University and a Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Jin has experience engaging in clinical work with various populations such as children, young adults, and older adults. Before coming to Juniata, she taught psychology and engaged in academic advising for several years. Jin greatly enjoys working with college students and is excited to see them succeed in college. Jin came to the U.S. in her early adulthood and has lived in different states. She is familiar with multicultural issues and enjoys working with students from diverse backgrounds. Some of her personal interests are spending time outdoors, gardening, swimming, and playing tennis.
