- Director of Student Rights and Responsibilities and Title IX Coordinator
Dan Cook-Huffman has served in many roles in his 20+ year history at Juniata. Starting in 1997, Dan was the Assistant Dean of Students focused on First Year programs and Conduct, eventually serving as Associate Dean of Students and Title IX Coordinator. Dan is currently Juniata’s Director of Student Rights and Responsibilities and Title IX Coordinator where his focus is on supporting a safe, welcoming, and respectful campus culture free of interpersonal violence and harassment. Dan earned a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies from Manchester College and an MA in Politics/International Relations at the Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. He is married to Celia Cook-Huffman, Professor Emeriti at Juniata, currently serving as Provost and Dean of the Faculty at Allegheny College, Meadville, PA. Dan enjoys music (singing and playing piano), gardening, cooking, and making homemade pizza.
