Andrea's Bio

• BA, Creative Writing, Susquehanna University ‘22
• Joined Juniata Staff in 2024

Originally from New Cumberland, PA, Andrea loves engaging with her community wherever she goes. She is a 2022 graduate of Susquehanna University where she earned her bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, with additional studies in Leadership and Professional & Civic Writing.

While at Susquehanna, she made the most of her liberal arts education by engaging in the student literary community, studying abroad in Cyprus, and working as an SU Service Leader, a 4-year internship where she developed educational programs for the Lewisburg Children’s Museum. She was also Promotions Director for 88.9 WQSU-FM where she hosted her own radio show and directed the station’s social media and community partnerships across the Greater Susquehanna Valley.

After graduation, Andrea pursued a service term with the College Advising Corps in Pennsylvania. This role brought her to Huntingdon in 2022 where she supported the students and families of Huntingdon Area High School and Southern Huntingdon County High School for the ‘22-23 and ‘23-24 school years. As a College & Career Adviser, she helped students discover their passions, overcome barriers, and navigate postsecondary planning. Now, she’s thrilled to work with transfer students starting a new chapter in their education.

In her free time, Andrea enjoys adventuring and spending time outdoors. She is a Huntingdon County 4-H volunteer and loves supporting rural student opportunities. You can often find Andrea seeking out trivia nights, swapping stories with friends and family, singing along to musicals, line dancing, or watching local sprint car races.

She is excited to help transfer students near and far find their home at Juniata!
