whether you prefer a traditional dorm room, a suite with your friends, or an apartment.
Our residence halls have those important features to ensure a comfortable living experience!
Our intimate campus ensures all our buildings are conveniently located near your classrooms,
the dining hall, and our recreation and athletic facilities. All of our residence
halls have laundry facilities that are free for students to use. Parking is available
at or near every residence hall. We have kitchens for student use throughout our campus
residences which allow to supplement to use of the dining hall and also serve as social
hubs. Many of our residence halls are climate-controlled. For those that are not,
you are able to bring a window-based air conditioning unit.

In addition to traditional residence halls, Juniata offers numerous on-campus apartments and houses. They are selected by students in the same manner as standard residence hall rooms and are generally occupied by juniors and seniors. Our houses and apartments generally have multiple bedrooms, shared living spaces, a kitchen, and a yard. Our houses and apartments are also pet-friendly living spaces!
Pink Apartments
Pink, located directly across from Brumbaugh Academic Center, is a favorite among upperclassmen. The building has both two and three person apartments, each containing a kitchen, living area, bathroom and one or two bedrooms. Houses 22.
Mission Apartments
Mission is located two blocks from the main campus and provides students with an independent atmosphere. There are both front and back porches for students to enjoy, as well as a large backyard. There are 4 apartments that are suitable for five people each. Houses 20.
305 College Avenue
Located across from Sherwood Hall and beside the soccer fields, contains a living room, an enclosed porch, a kitchen, bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a driveway. Houses 6.
2111 Cold Springs Rd.
2111 includes a small porch and laundry area. There is a kitchen, a living room, two bathrooms and three bedrooms. Houses 8.
1631 Mifflin St. - Eco House
The house includes a kitchen, a large common area, bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a yard. 1631 sits across from the Humanities building. Currently the Eco-House Living Learning Community resides here; selection by application only. Houses 6.
1731 Mifflin St.
Located behind Good Hall, 1731 Mifflin St. includes a dining room, living room, multiple bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. Houses 6.
1815 Washington St.
1815 includes a dining room, living area, and a backyard. The quaint house has street parking and is located next to Mission. Houses 5.
2207 McClay
Located at corner of 23rd and McClay Street. This house has a large living area for programming and has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. This will be the Diaspora Living-Learning Community beginning in Fall 2022; selection by application only. Houses 8.
1931 Moore (Stone House)
2 apartments; the upstairs apartment houses 3 people, has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, and bathroom. The downstairs apartment houses 5 people, has 4 bedrooms, living room, and bathroom. Houses 8.

Residential Staff
Every residence hall and apartment area is equipped with a team of student and professional staff members who are readily available to provide essential information, assistance, and support to residents.
Each building has a team of student Resident Assistant (RA), a student Community Advisor, and a professional staff member of a Residential Life Coordinator. Each community has specific needs and support based on where you are in your college journey. These staff members are hired very specifically with the needs of your community in mind! These staff members also plan social and educational events and are responsible for addressing any concerns that may arise. In instances where they are unable to do so, they know precisely where to direct you for further assistance.
We also have a team of full-time professionals supporting our housing and campus life functions. We know that your experience of living on-campus is paramount to your thriving as a student! We are excited to partner with in your making Juniata your home!
