Steps to Take Before Coming to Juniata

Complete the following by date indicated
  • Account Setup: Set up your Juniata email account immediately upon receipt of your New Student Information Packet and check your Juniata email regularly throughout the summer. Instructions for setting up your account are located in your Juniata Application Status Page.
  • Register for an Orientation Session and an Inbound Session at least 2 weeks prior to the session's date.
  • Advising and Course Registration: Check your Juniata email for correspondence from advising@juniata.edu.
  • Housing: Beginning June 1, complete the New Student Housing Application and Roommate Profile sent to your Juniata email. Housing will be assigned by the start of August.
  • Online Training Modules: Complete your Online Educational Modules sent to your Juniata email. These modules will be sent in early August. Educational modules must be completed by prior to arrival to campus. 
  • Student Health Forms: Complete the New Student Health Form and submit either via email to HealthServices@juniata.edu or fax to 814-643-6903. No hard copies of Health Forms will be accepted at this time.
  • Upload your ID Photo by August 1 to have your Juniata College Gold Card ID printed and ready for your arrival. You will need your Juniata credentials to login. Your Gold Card ID is your access to buildings and meals on campus.
  • Financial Planning and Billing: Review your bill through Juniata's Arch Website, authorize additional users, such as parents or guardians, and setup a payment plan as needed by May 6.
  • Advising and Course Registration: Visit the First Year Academics page for information on submitting AP scores and college transcripts, and taking the world language placement test.
  • Student Accommodations: For students in need of academic or housing accommodations related to documented disability or learning difference, visit the Student Accessibility Services webpage for information on the process and schedule an appointment with Joann Noel, Director of Student Accessibility Services.
  • Financial Planning and Billing: Ensure you have received your Financial Aid Letter.
  • Financial Planning and Billing: Waive college medical insurance if you have other insurance coverage. The waiver must be completed by August 30. Please note, students from abroad are not able to waive the Juniata insurance given the coverage may meet specific visa requirements and/or enable students to access care in the United States.
  • Bringing your Vehicle to Campus: Students will need to register by August 1 and pay the $250 parking pass fee.
