After the launch of the Information Technology program in the 2000/2001 academic year, the Innovations for Industry (I4I) course sequence was created to serve as a capstone experience for IT students. The I4I program has been run every semester since and remains one of the key features of the IT POE. I4I has since been added as a requirement in the Computer Science POE and now also serves the general education curriculum by providing similar experiences for non-technology POE students.
