Outcomes

More than 90 percent of IT and CS graduates are employed in their field within six months of graduating at firms like Microsoft, Deloitte Consulting, Lockheed Martin, Verizon, Highmark, comScore, Fidelity Investment, Aflac, Geico, Containment Solutions, and Wells Fargo. Our graduates also earn acceptance to graduate programs at Villanova, Bowling Green State University, Penn State, and Johns Hopkins.

Faculty

Additional Opportunities

Study Abroad: Select from study options on every continent except Antarctica, including CS/IT-focused programs with our partner schools in Germany and France. Earn your Computer Science bachelor’s degree from Juniata and a European master’s degree from a French university thanks to a recently created cooperative agreement.

Internships: Juniata CS and IT students intern at many companies including UPMC, Highmark, Duquesne Light, GDA Corporation, and in positions throughout Juniata’s campus.  Our Innovations for Industry program provides additional experience with working on real problems for real companies as a regular part of a students coursework.

Research & Participation: Conduct and present research in a topic of your choosing with the guidance of a faculty member, participate in a programming competition, or present your Innovations for Industry project at the annual Liberal Arts Symposium.  

Innovations for Industry (I4I): I4I is a unique partnership between IT/CS students, the department, and select organizations to provide real world experiences that students can add to a resume and discuss during job interviews and it delivers needed products and services to participating organizations.  Recent clients include New Pig Corporation, GoDezi Inc., Huntingdon County Visitors Bureau, Fort Mill EMS, and NBCUniversal.
