Originally from Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, Tessa discovered Juniata College at a high school fair and was immediately intrigued by their personalized degree programs and tight knit community. For her first two years of college, Tessa decided to attend a community college in New Jersey where she graduated with an associate’s degree in liberal arts. When it was time to transfer to a new college, Tessa remembered Juniata and their amazing POE system. Fast forward two years and Tessa is now a 2021 graduate from Juniata where she studied Professional Writing and had a focus in Communications.

While Tessa was a student at Juniata, she was involved in many things. During her first year on campus, she joined the Mock Trial team, became a Writing Associate, and was elected to be Vice President of Student Government. The next year, Tessa was also a Residential Assistant (RA) and a Tour Guide. Tessa’s love for Juniata and her desire to help people led her to become an Admissions Counselor at Juniata College.

In her free time, Tessa is an outdoorsy thrill seeker. She loves to rock climb (especially on the West Coast) and she enjoys backpacking and trail running.
