Primary Role

Provides general accounting support to include monthly account/bank reconciliations, Perkins Loan management, as well as other general accounting duties as assigned.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and other general accounting functions.
  • Manage the Perkins Loan process.
  • Provide all accounting and management of college real estate.
  • Perform all duties associated with capitalization and depreciation of assets.
  • Print and provide internal control function for all checks.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Supervision Required/Given

This position reports to the Controller.

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of desktop software applications is required.
  • Ability to work in a team based environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are essential.
